Here is the Knitty Sock Swap part Deux quiz ( can't spell questinairre, see) for Guro and Stariel, though it might help others too.....
1.Are you sensitive to any fibres? Any you don't like? Any you need to take private time with?
just as long as the yarn is not scratchy I'm happy to try anything.....
2.What colors do you prefer?
Purples, pinks, turquoises, blues, blacks greays, teals.....
3. Variegated, striped, plain with texture, plain and silky?variegated that pools?
Not so keen on the pooling thing but yes to all of the above...I love lace.
4.Where do you normally wear your hand-made socks? Around the house? yes
To work with comfy sensible shoes? most definately Out with pumps and minis? I've yet to try this one...have you seen my legs?
5.If you could leave your partner and run off with only one sock yarn, which would it be and why?
Jitterbug 'cos its all squooshy and soft...not that I have fondled many....
6.What are your foot measurements? um big! UK size 7 very high instep I do like a snug foot fit though.
And what height do you like your socks to be? Fat calves so ankle length, unless someone would like to knit me made to measure fishnet stockings.......
7.Who is your favorite sock designer? um....um.... Cookie, Tsarina of socks, although I've never knitted either :-) I use CoolSocks Warm Feet as a toolkit but generallt start with a pattern then go off on a tangent...
Who's patterns do you knit the most?? Whatever takes my fancy adding changes as I go
8.what weight of sock do you like, fine, medium, or thick?
Fine are my favourite!
